Save the Date ….. for an upcoming workshop about the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding.
• Help your hospital move forward to support mothers who choose to breastfeed
• Hear what other hospitals are doing in lactation care
• Learn practical strategies to Implement the Ten Steps
The Minnesota Breastfeeding Coalition is offering a Baby Friendly Workshop – designed to be a “working meeting” to get things done. This is not your ordinary meeting! We are all busy, so the workshop’s goal is for you to get work done while you attend . . . then take completed documents or drafts back to your hospital.
It will include information about the Baby Friendly Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding and how to make change at your hospital one step at a time.
There will be many small group learning opportunities, including work tables where you can give and take documents, handouts, and ideas from other programs in the state.
Sharing of resources is encouraged and you will go home having completed some tasks that will help your hospital improve lactation support, even if you are not yet ready for Baby Friendly.
